Fabrication of new Molecular seal to replace damaged existing one.

The following scope of work was carried out:​

• Transport Seal to IIM workshop

• Cut existing base away from main body

• Sandblast Internals of seal

• Carry out UTT continuous line scans along items at 0º, 90º, 270º& 360º around the circumference of each item.

• Decision was made that existing seal was too damaged to repair.  Supply & fabrication started after this.

• Blast & paint externals to System 18, Interzinc 2280 & Intertherm 50.

• Delivery to Caltex.
