Santos CSG Skid Packages

The Surat and Bowen Basins, in which Santos holds interests in a number of permits, are located in eastern Queensland.

 

IIM fabricated 160 CSG Wellhead skid packages for the upstream component of this gas field development project.

The project was completed in mid 2010.  

 

Scope of Services

This $12.1 million project consist of 160 CSG Wellhead skid packages consisting of a water separator skid, metering skid, fuel gas skid and associated spooling. The scope of works included fabrication, non destructive testing, surface treatment, hydrostatic testing and loading of skid frames, spooling and pressure vessels.

 

Project Highlights

Through the use of process automation and task standardisation we were able to produce four packages per week using only fifty percent of our fabrication capacity. Our ability of providing all required production processes in-house guaranteed that delivery schedules were met. Our 37 000 square meter yard enabled us to store completed packages as site installation was halted due to weather.
